Your help needed - please pass the word!
The Chapter Director of Gruene HOG lost his oldest son Friday. Details are unknown at this time, but this young man passed entirely too early. Please join with our family in prayer for Mike and his family. Justin was only 21 years of age - so you can imagine the impact on his family!
Gruene HD and Gruene HOG will be sponsoring a fundraiser BBQ on Saturday, October 18th from noon to 3 pm. PLEASE come and help support Mike and his family - their son has left at far too young an age, but as I'm sure all of us can appreciate not only the psychological impact but the financial impact is also significant. Mike's son had no insurance, so they're having to cover all costs out of their own pocket.
PLEASE help us get the word out as far and wide as possible!!! We need LOTS of folks there, and we need them to be as generous as they possibly can! If anyone knows someone that can donate some of the food items, please let me know as soon as possible - we have LOTS of pit space, and we'll cook anything we can!
Additionally - if you know anyone willing to donate items for a silent
auction to benefit Mike and his family, that would be welcomed as well -
just let me know!
