My opinion, put it back on. The Road King is a great looking bike and part of it's character is the crash bar. Not to mention if you ever needed it you would be glad it was there. Just my .02

I thing as long as the bags are on the bike, the crash bars go with the look. If you want to streamline the lines of the bike, the bags would have to go too.
