Quick question..
So i did the tests ,
everything was looking good, until i did AC test.
I set the meter to 200 ACV , and no matter how much i rev'd it it would only show 1.5??
I see it should read 30+.. would it even show 1.5 if it was broken or am i doing it wrong?
What tests are you referring to and where did you get them from? There are a couple of Stickies in the Tech Electrical section that will help test your charging circuit. If you are getting good DC results at the battery and those numbers AC at the alternator, then it sounds as if your testing of AC ain't right!

What do you mean by "everything was looking good, until i did AC test".
The first test would be to check the DC charging voltage across the battery with the bike at a "fast" idle (~2000 RPM) for between 13.8 - 14.8 VDC. If you had that, there wouldn't be any need to test the stator.
It sounds like the stator is bad, I've had them measure 1-2 VAC when they were bad. Pull the primary chain inspection cover and give the opening a good sniff. If it smells REALLY rank (burnt), the stator is fried.
yeah .. more info i guess.
K my battery died, I jumped it and came home and charged it. It holds charge, starts bike, but wont charge when checking DC.. so i did the stator checks, all them looked good till the AC check.
ill pull it apart and see what i smell.
