I'm kicking the idea around, these sure clean up the look of the back wheel and I figure the stopping power has to be equal to or greater then the old drum brake.
Just wondering if anybody has used one on an older Ironhead. I think getting the brake reservoir in line would be the hardest part.

I'm not keen on them myself, although I suppose they are OK in a custom application. Chain lube and brakes in the same place seems too risky to me! You've solved the front brake problem, perhaps a slightly later stock disc wheel will fit?

I used a sprotor on the chopper in my Avatar for 6 years. Your right about the lube. I used a dry chain lube but I still had to burn it off the brake pads every time I lube the chain.
