Has anyone here put emulators in their front forks and how are they and are they worth the money??..I am getting ready to rebuild my front forks and considering putting them in during the rebuild..
I have them and can't recommend them - they don't seem to add anything. They come with instructions on how to adjust them, but unless you can identify what it is that is wrong, they don't help! I have Ricor Intiminators in my Glide, which I haven't ridden yet, but they get better reviews, hence why I have bought them. Both products have to be removed from the forks to make any adjustments. They both make big claims on the improvements they bring, but it would be great if one of them worked as advertised.
I recently installed Ricor Intiminators w/ the recommended 5W Amsoil fork oil and 12" standard 412 progressive shocks on my nighty and it made a huge difference. Worth every penny.
My sporty has the Ricors as well. Made a huge difference and I did not even change the oil. Just popped the caps, pulled the springs and dropped them in.
Another +1 for the Ricor Intiminators. My wife loves them and her front end doesn't bottom out anymore. I did go with the 5wt fork oil that they recommend.
After doing way too much research on improving front forks , the Ricor Intiminators seem to be the choice for best performance per dollar out there.
The positive feedback is very good on these.
I've already improved my forks by a good margin , but I might try a set next year just to satisfy my own curiosity.
