Default Headlight

Anyone know if the newer Harley style headlight will work on my 2001? I'm thinking the newer clear style headlight will be a little brighter or should I just look into an Adjure like I have on my bagger? My headlight right now seems too yellowish and not bright enough.

Is the bike a 2001 XL120S ?
Should be a 5 3/4" stock headlight ?
Most likely you would have a lense optic rather than the newer reflector optic setup.
For a real improvement in lighting , try a really good housing like a Cibie E-Code and a better bulb.

The Cibie H4 domed lense housing and an Osram Rallye 70/65 H4 bulb would work well.
I pulled my stock setup first thing and went with a 7" setup with the Cibie housing.
I had this setup on my 2009 Ultra Classic and it was a big improvement over stock.
The newer Harley unit is not much better than the 2001 , just cooler looking.
The bulb itself is what makes it whiter.
The Osram bulb is tuned to such a level that it only lasts about 300 hours.
Most bulbs last about 1200 hours.
