I feel like the biggest idiot in the world putting this question up, but after multiple searches, I cant find anything that addresses my issue. So if someone could tell me what Im doing wrong or if Im just an idiot, it would be appreciated.
I cannot get the 48 passenger pillion installed on my 2012 Iron. Before buying it, I searched around to make sure it could happen and saw plenty of posts saying it just bolts right up. So I bought the pillion to go with my Biltwel Sporty 8.
My issue is the bracket underneath the fender towards the back side of it. The way it sits, I cant put the nut through the hole in the fender. I tried to just put the screw back in the hole that is already there, but the bracket shifted when I took the screw out and I cant get it to shift back over. Any ideas?
I seem to remember mine did that too.
It seemed like the screw wasn't long enough to engage the nut.
I had to jack up the bike a little , pry upward on the nut to get the screw to reach.
The fender support underneath tweaked over just a little , preventing me from installing the screw to complete the install.
