Looking for a tuner
Economical, as in it will increase your fuel mileage, or economical, as in it won't hit your wallet hard?
The price you pay for a tuner will directly reflect your outcome, because with tuners you will absolutely get what you pay for; less money generally ='s less features and lots of "tweaking" - and more money generally ='s more features and better possible performance from the getgo.
No tuner will instantaneously turn your bike into a 9 second machine, but the "better" tuners, i.e., the ones that have "Auto Tune" capabilities, will in short order provide the means for your engine to run damn near as close to perfect as possible without a DYNO and tech time, and when it's running properly with the correct A/F ratio it accelerates quicker and smoother, it sounds better, and decal popping can be eliminated or greatly reduced. Also, if or whenever you decide to change engine components down the road, it's just as simple as running another 1 or 2 Auto Tune sessions with the new configuration and you're good to go.
So do your homework and think strongly about it, then decide what's more important for you to spend your money on, then...pick your poison!
