Modify 2013 V&H Straightshot Exhaust for 2014?
Hi there, I've managed to get my hands on a second hand, almost brand new set of 2013 V&H Straightshot exhausts for basically next to nothing.
Is it possible and what is needed to install the 2013 V&H Straightshot Exhausts onto a 2014 Iron? I'm hoping I can get it right as I really like the look of the straightshots.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It looks like the 2013 model is a # 16819 and the 2014 model is a # 16863.
I'm pretty sure Harley changed the master cylinder position so maybe the mount brackets are slightly different.
I would call V&H and ask them if it's possible to adapt them for your year.
Might be simple , or impossible , just a call anyway.

The modification to make them work wouldnt be worth it unless they are free. The collector between pipes on the pre 2013 sportsters attaches to the mufflers. The collector on the 2014+ models is on the headers. The mounting points likely wouldn't line up either since most of the changes between 2013 and 2014 are exhaust related.
