Need To Eliminate Security 07' XL50
I want to eliminate or disable my security system on my 2007 XL50. Constant battery drain is a PITA.
Looking for simplest way to do this....or do I need to take it to a HD dealership?

The simplest and quickest solution is a battery tender! If you don't have one your problem is solved. If on the other hand your battery drains quickly then you have a more serious problem than the security system and if you remove it you will still have a problem.

I have a battery tender and use it during the riding season. I just don't like that if I happen not to ride for a couple of weeks and the tender was not plugged in the NEW battery may be low on charge.
I just want it gone.

Maybe you have another problem because my 07 with the factory alarm can sit for a month without the tender and still start fine, I only use the tender for long term winter storage.
