Default Speedo relocate

Before anyone spouts off about using the search
I am trying to find out if people have relocated them to other places and not just down on the left hand side by the coil.
I am wanting to out a batwing on mine with audio but the speedo always seems to be in the way.
So looking for options

I dont like either one of those batwings however I do like Harleys wing tips but, I wont be doing that either I would have to repaint covers for that.

Have you thought about using a riser/speedo set up from a Custom model? It would allow plenty of room for a fairing.

Not yet, I wanted to get one with audio but because of my speedo they say they won't work.
I think it is more because the speedo is in the way of the audio equipment.
SO might just end up going with the Memphis Shades model.
I am really happy with their Gauntlet

Not sure what other options there are as I don't think I would like the speedo down by my knee

Depending on what shape handlebars you have it would be just as easy to remount it on them as it would to a crashbar, off to one side. I had a similar problem when fitting a batwing to my Glide (which didn't have one when new) and mounting my gps. It was easier to fit the fairing first, then work around the space available.

I have the mini apes on my Custom CB.
I guess it could go off to one side which is something to think about.
Will get my hard bags on first and then decide about the batwing.
