Default Bar Risers Help for 48

I want to move my handlebars up and back towards me a small amount for comfort. I am looking at 1" and 2" versions.
Will I be able to install them without changing cables and brake lines.
Does anyone know if that will work?
According to the checking method (sitting on the bike, eyes closed and reaching for the grips those are the correct height) but it seems to between both. I don't want to buy both. Would there be much of a problem installing the 2"? Would I be able to just rotate a bit if they are too high?
One inch should not be much but I have no experience with risers.
This assumes cables and brake lines do not have to be changed.
Opinions??
thanks

Funny you should ask. Last night I installed 2" risers on my 07 1200L. To determine if my cables were slack enough to allow for 2" risers, I removed the bolts and lifted the handlebar up in the air by 2". I was able to do that, so I went ahead and ordered the risers and installed them.

These are risers in 1 and 2 " for a '48
http://lonerindustries.com/1-inch-fo...ht-risers.html
If you just need back and up slightly , I run Harley 56085-83A (nightster/roadster) bars on mine.
They're black , a bit wider (also what I wanted) and about $78.00 from the dealer.

If you look at the gas cap , you can see the difference.
Had to bend the front brake line a smidge , everything else fit fine.

The 48 has those funky integrated risers so pretty much those Loner Industies ones are the only ones that will work. They're only offered in +1" or +2".

Harley is making the same risers now as loner industries just in case they are on back order at one place. I purchased mine through loner.

Sorry, my bad. OP, disregard the recommendation for DK Custom's risers above.

Thanks for the help. The Risers I was going with are the Loner Industries that HERE pointed out, Mick had mentioned these on an earlier post a couple of months ago but they were out of stock then. I would rather not replace the Bars if the riser will work. But the Bar replacement is always an option. Mick do have Risers as well as different Bars?
The suggestion lewk had was great in terms of determining if cables or brake lines would have to be changed or moved wish I thought of that. Much better then buying, trying and then figure out what to do with the wrong one. I have a lot of parts in that category laying around.
The other question I have is if the 2" model could be rotated if it was too high as opposed to the 1". It's only an inch but!!! My goal is to be further back and up a bit.
thanks

No, the loner setup can not be rotate. It basically just serves as a spacer/extension of the factory integrated risers. Long before the Loner Industry spacers came out I had something similar built but a machine shop locally.

Barrier , I have just the bars , no risers , which make a fair bit of difference.
Remember risers will go up the inch that they are , but will only come back like the angle of the forks.
Pullback makes a big difference quickly , changes the angle of your spine and the sit of the seat more than you would think.
The bars I have are stock on the XL1200N , XL883R , and XR1200 models, if you find a bike at the dealer , take a quick sit and you'll see.
