Default WIRING HELP pls......Update: DONE :)

UPDATE: Thanks for the advice all. I got everything wired and figured out (well someone helped . Here's a pic below.

So, I've tried to look for it and did all the searches but can't seem to find the exact answer.....I recently installed a headlight and it has integrated driving signals that I would like to try out and see how they work - as driving lights (always on).

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...headlight.html

I see that I can possibly cut open the sheath that covers the wiring for my turn signals. Underneath each sheath, I can feel two wires. Is it as simple as - one wire is for driving lights (always on) and the other one for turn signal function?

Therefore all I would need to do is tap into the driving-wire and then done??

Thanks in advance for any guidance and do/don'ts I can get on this!

You probably need to get the manual so you have a wiring diagram. But yeah you should be able to tap into the running light wire and run a ground. But you don't want to have too much amp draw on that wiring. Is it a LED? That will draw less amps than an incandescent bulb.

Yes, it is that simple on identifying the wires. (if it is a non-CanBus Sporty...'13 or earlier)

Make sure your headlight turn signals are grounded.

Since the LED's don't draw as much amperage, it may confuse the TSM without a load equalizer.
