Speedo Change
I installed a HD digital Speedo./analogue tach. on my sportster last year and all works well but I don't know if I want to keep it.
If I remove it and re-install the original speedo, will the original speedo show the correct mileage, old mileage or will there be an error?

From what I understand, it will read the correct mileage because the info is saved in the ECM. The bad part is that your new digital speedo/tach will be useless because it mates to your ECM after so many miles and cannot be used on another bike and display the correct mileage.

No problem. I wish it didnt mate like they do or that there was a way to undo it. If there was, I would be all over you to buy the thing. I may actually dig into it a little bit if you are planning to part ways with it.
