Rear running light out

01 sporty . Brake light, turn signals, hazards, front running lights , and headlight all working. All fuses are good. Any ideas?

I assume you have changed the bulb already? is so check the socket for corrosion and that the plate at the bottom of the socket moves up & down freely, if that's all good check the wiring under the fender for tire chaffing and corrosion in any connections. Beyond that you will need a test light and a wiring diagram to continue checking up the wire to locate the problem.
It looks like your bikes very low on the back so the tire chaffing would be my guess.

Hotlap has probably nailed it! Start with the basics first. Even if the bulb looks fine try a replacement, just in case.

I had a rear bulb that was out, but it did not make the flashers go faster, so I did not notice until I changed out for smoked lenses. It was all milky color when I changed it.
