Default New Bars (pics inside), also a couple issues

Ok.. so Here are the bars I had before:

I decided to go with a 12" fatty Z from licks because the bar I had previously just didn't look right... The most frustrating part was that I really only needed like 4" of extensions, but I bought a wire kit that was much longer. either way.. I will end up cutting and soldering I'm sure. In addition to the wires being too long, licks doesn't de bur their bars, or I just got a pair that were missed so it took my fooooorever to pull them through, and honestly I have little confidence that i didn't tear the sheath... guess we'll find out later. Here some pictures of the wiring under the tank pre- extensions and bars.

Here's a mock up when I first got them.. the look is exactly what I wanted.

OK. so now to the questions. My throttle cables are tensioned all the way out and are still way too loose. I cannot seem to figure out why they have so much slack. the adjusters are on the last thread... what am I missing here?

Default cables

you might want to make sure that you put the proper cables in the proper slot. ie. make sure that they match locations at the handlebars and at the valve.

The spring loaded cable is the one one the backside of the grip... The idler is the one closest to me if I'm sitting on the bike. Right?

I believe your cables have different size diameter ferrule fittings, and only go back together one way at the throttle.

Sounds like you are asking for trouble if the bars are not debured. Plus those bars have some pretty sharp bends. I wouldn't want to find out there is a problem and get stranded somewhere. In my opinion internal wiring is for show bikes. Not riders. Good luck!

are you talking about throttle/clutch being internal or electrical wirecuz some stuff just needs to be tucked away cuz the hogs are still classy. everything on my bike is internal and im a hard core rider man. 70+ miles a day everyday unless its monsoon season
