Some adjustable black rectangular mirrors for flipping?
I'm looking to get some rectangular mirrors, in black, for my Iron 883. I've tried my mirrors up, I've tried them down, I prefer them down but I've encountered some issues with my stock mirrors.
- I can't turn them up anymore, so I have to hunch down each time I want to check my mirrors.
- I can't turn them out to the sides any farther. If I turn the stem out, I then can't see the mirror at all as the grips and button housings block view of the mirror.
So with this said, they need to be fairly adjustable, and hopefully not too pricey.
If anyone knows of some nice ones, I'd love to hear about them. Here's some pictures of my current setup and of the type of mirror I'm interested in for visual reference.
Like them but 115 per mirror is a little expensive. I have the same problem, the Harley OEM mirror dont give me too much adjustment. Any other suggestions.
Make sure they are adjusted correctly there should be no more than one finger gap between the mirror and side of tank when you fully turn the bars in that direction.. if there is more than you would not be utilizing the under bar mirrors properly.
Height of the operator might be a factor as well and how close you are positioned to the front of the bike verse normal riding position, but I have adjusted friends mirrors whom were experiencing the same thing only to find it was the adjustment rather than the stock mirror..
