Disconnecting Power with Smart Alarm II
When I do repairs/mods, I normally pull the main fuse to disconnect power. I had a smart alarm installed and now when I disconnect the main fuse, the alarm sounds. The Smart Alarm has its own battery pack so it does not need power from the battery to sound.
How do you'all disconnect power of the Smart Alarm to work on the bike i.e. change battery, lights, etc?
Thank you.

Turn the ignition on first, disarming the alarm, then pull the fuse while the ignition is on. My Dyna did the same thing. I about went deaf before I found a post and learned how toi do it.
I can't remember the re-install p[rocedure, but I think, when done, you'll re-insert the main fuse with ignition on also.
