I kid you not, people love the 72 when it's all shined up! Even the people that don't want to admit it, love it!
Shining up that chrome gives me a good reason to consume a few beers while feeling productive!~ The spokes are a good beer drinker... All spokes shined is at least a six pack!
I wonder how easy it would be to keep those clean. I've thought about getting white pegs because my stock ones are wore flat after 3000 miles.
That was my biggest concern as well, but even on the Harley website it says to just use the HD wheel and tire cleaner and a brush. I suppose it can not be much worse than trying to keep my whitewalls clean. My whitewalls where so muddy at Sturgis last year from staying at the Chip which was just a giant mud bug for a couple days with all the rain that I thought I would never get them clean but they look like new after a good scrub down. I figured I would give these a shot, worst case I throw them away in a year, both sets of pegs and shifter only set me back $150 so it's not like I dropped huge coin on them, fairly inexpensive as far as pegs go IMO.
as soon as i saw the white seat and grips i knew you needed white pegs . glad you think so too !
chrome and that green really work together , sweet bike
