Default MPG
Just got a 99 sporty custum as a second bike. Straight pipes and nothing special what should I expect for MPG. Just need a safe gauge to go by.

I rode almost 300 miles this weekend and avg 51 mpg, some town driving, and mostly hiway miles 55-60 mph mainly

I just got 135 miles on my '03 883r.Thats with the 3.3 gallon tank.When I filled it up it took 2.8 gallons.Thats about 48 mpg

I always get low 40s on my 1200R but it's all stop and go miles and short trips.

Last fill up was 40.5 mpg

My stock 2005 1200 C gets a good solid 50 and sometimes a little more.

50-52 Highway & about 43-45 around town.

Anything over 45 mpg would be good...
That depends on how hard you ride etc.

In the fall I was averaging about 43-47 mpg, the last two fill ups I was around 50-51 mpg. 2005 XL1200C, Stage 1

42 city in 07 1200 XLC , the H/D Q/D windshield knocks the sh*t out of my mileage about 38 city.
