New Guy...
Hello all. Happy to be here. Have a 2014 HD Iron 883.......getting new pipes this week and I'm pumped. 3" V&H twin slash/chrome slip ons. Cannot wait.
Can anyone tell me if I need the Power Commander 5 or the Screaming Eagle Super Tuner installed? I know I'll need a new K&N air filter for sure.

if you just do slip=ons and a K&N filter but keep the stock air box you shouldn't have to tune it.. That's exactly what I would do and save money, the extra 1-2 horse power is not worth it. ride it & enjoy it.

Very good recommendation. Just make sure you install the pipes right and use new clamps. That way you will make sure you don't get air leaks and then come back on here complaining that its popping on deceleration. You will see that problem time and time again and then they throw in a couple of hundred dollars more on a tuner trying to stop the popping. Waste of money.
