Hi,
I changed the gaskets on the engine, when it came to the gear cover plate the gears came out,I thought I aligned them properly according to the manual but the drive gear had a paint mark instead of a engraved mark I assumed this was the mark to use but the motor doesn't start or even cough, does anyone have a opinion?
Thanks
Pete
You were right, there was a factory mark as well as the paint one, actually there are 4 other paint marks on the other gears I have no idea what they are. Anyway,I got the gears lined up properly now but the cover does not want to go back on smoothly. Could they be off center somehow?
Thanks
Pete
