07' XL50 Sportster, recently installed forward controls. Now have just round pegs on the forwards.
Thinking about mini drivers floor boards, thinking that my boot heel would help in keeping the position even more comfortable.
Found some 4"x8" that I like the looks of but not sure if the 8" will interfere with easy access to the shifter. Next option would be the 4"x4".
Would like to here opinions on what you are happy with.
Lots of options at this LINK for comfortable mini floorboards.
Personally, I like the Bear Traps and the Heel Rest Arms, this gives me a full sized floorboard worth of comfort, but with a totally different look, good grip, more flexibility, and no interference.
I just replaced my skull footpegs with 4" HD Chrome Mini Footboards since my feet use to slip off the pegs when it rained. Can be adjusted to difference angles. Also adjusted my shifter peg to a higher position. Rubber is good. Pegs are comfortable. Can't say much about access for forward controls since I have mids.
