Can anybody point me to a write up on the steps taken to clean up the handle bars on a sportster. I'd like to ditch the turn signals and relocate the kill switch and start button.

I remember bmxatv had written up about this. I can't remember the thread. It might have been the crazy orange thread. I was doing a search on it a couple weeks ago and couldn't find the thread. I searched handlebars, delete, switches, etc.

All I did was pull the tank un plug the pods then took the switch housing apart and cut off what I did not want to keep. then there was plenty of slack to run back to my battery cover maybe a hour or so it took.

I did forget the head light locate on the plu going into the harness for the hi and lo you will have to splice behind the plug to complete the circuit. since the switch is going away. I didn't do the toggle for hi and lo I just wired my hi constant and have had any issues.

My bike is a 1998. Do the pods still connect under the yank on my model?
