Was the guy texting? It's getting to be an epidemic. People are addicted to their stupid cellphones. I think it should be treated like drunk driving and actually ENFORCED by the cops. Lady hit me last summer while texting...I was gonna shove it up her *** until someone held me back.
I personally think for sure he was. Hell, you are right it's getting to be a huge thing. All kids do it. Sorry, by kid, I mean this guy was 27. He got out of his car with his cell phone still in his hand. He was holding it in his hand when I hobbled up to his car with my helmet in my right hand. Honestly, I didn't do anything because he looked like he was staring at a ghost. Kinda freaked me out really. Had to check myself. I guess I just come from a different era. I won't even talk on my cell phone in a cager and won't even look at it if I get a text.
That's a great pre-crash pic. It really is a pretty bike. There's so much on it I like. It sounds like you have the skills to bring her back to that again.
In the meantime, you'll have to ride the pink/white bike I saw in the background in one of your pics.

Lol! Yep. I love that bike. Put many a mile on it. Almost wish I was on it Saturday, but that paint job cost a bundle.
Not really, but a dang nice bike. Just an ole 2006 Honda Aero 750. The rich lady that had it before spent a boatload and had it painted by Emil of Debonair FX. He's the guy that has some TV show Pimp my ride, or trick my whatever. Not sure, burt it is a beautiful paint job for a Honda! Looks like I'll be riding it this summer.
Great that you are up and walking around. Even busted up, you can still work on your ride....I think. Wish you a fast recovery. I am old too and I know the body takes longer to recover...and definitely not as fast as you want.
Ha! My three Son's thought the same thing too when my wife emailed them a pic. I hadn't thought of it but it does look like I lost all my blood. No, just the remains of my tail light, but that did cut me up pretty good.
I am sure as I get older, (if thats possible) the story will grow!
Am pleased to hear it! More of a James Bond crash then? Shaken but not stirred!!
