Default Sportster model differences

Hello, I'm getting ready to buy my first Harley sportster (2005 custom 1200 is what I want).
I'm leaning towards the custom because I like the spoke front wheel, forward controls, rubber mounted engineand higher handle bars..
I'm not really sure what's different between the custom, roadster and low other then what I mentioned. Can someone please give an overview between the 3? Thanks!

C: single front disk, 26.5" seat height, spoke wheels, no tach, 4.5 gal tank, forward controls, more engine chrome, 21" front tire.
R: double front disks, 28.1" seat height, cast wheels, has a tach, 3.3 gal tank, mid controls, less engine chrome, 19" front tire.

Personally I bought the roadster for the following reasons: I like the extra braking of the double disks, cast wheels are easier to clean and are tubeless for less unsprung weight, I like to have a tach, I like the look of the peanut tank, mid controls feel right to me (especially when hot *******), I like the black out look on the engine, I like the paint job on the R with the two tone tank.

Thanks.. So the only thing I wish the custom had was the double disk brakes! Oh well, can't have it all.

I'm going tomorrow to see the 05 custom with $1K as a deposit.. Hope it works out. I have Harley on the brain!

the roadster is just that, mid range seating position, fatter front tirew/spoked mag wheel, i think a tach, etc. the custom has the 21 inch narrowfront wheel and tire, sits a little furtherback, more chrome, custom light package, and a realbad seat. the low is a big change to me. it sits about 1 1/2 lower, 2 inches forward, and has mid controls. i really think you would have to be 5 foo nothing to be comfortable. that's my 02. hope you enjoy what ever you get
