I weigh 180 and wife is close. I run mine either empty when solo or 5 psi. When 2 up I run 10 psi. On real hard drops we come close to bottom so adjust yours accordingly.

OK, so I don't clog the "What did you do" thread (referencing my post https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...l#post19107244)...

Which the hell one of these makes sense for shock oil? All roughly the same price, but struggling to tell much of a practical difference.
Amazon Amazon
Amazon Amazon
Amazon Amazon

It's also maddening that the lowest price I can find thus far for the 5/32" hose is $13 for 32.8 ft. I need at most a fraction of that just for emptying and refilling the shocks. I'm probably going to stick with separate schrader valves longer term rather than spending even more time faffing around trying to find a proper hose and schrader T-junction setup.

Any other component recommendations?

EDIT: Alternatively, as per the video floating around for replacing the shock fluid, they recommend the Amsoil Shock Therapy, which is twice the price! Is that actually worth that premium!? Is it better to use the 10 weight (
https://www.amazon.com/Amsoil-Shock-Therapy-Medium-10-Quart/dp/B008JH8LGG/ https://www.amazon.com/Amsoil-Shock-Therapy-Medium-10-Quart/dp/B008JH8LGG/
) or 5 weight (
https://www.amazon.com/Amsoil-Shock-Therapy-Light-Quart/dp/B008LXJFNG/ https://www.amazon.com/Amsoil-Shock-Therapy-Light-Quart/dp/B008LXJFNG/
) on a Sporty?

I used 8.5 ounces of Bel Ray 10 weight shock oil in mine. I didn't have schrader valves and wanted to see how it rode right away so, I just put some 1/8" pipe plugs in to test ride it. It worked great and a year later I still haven't gotten around to getting the Schrader valves. I weigh about 250 lbs and it takes a big pothole to bottom it out. My daughter also rides this bike and weighs about 160. She says it rides so much better than the stock shocks too.

What is the best choice 12" or 13" air shocks? I'm looking at trying some out on an Iron 883.

Presumably the longer the better (more travel = better ride). I went with the 12" because my stock shocks were 11.75", and I didn't want to spend extra money on lowering blocks to keep the stock height.
