Default Quick, probably stupid question

Thought I heard what sounded like a bolt falling off my bike today when taking off from a street light after my 5000 mile service. So naturally I'm looking everything over and noticed this hole on my control assembly. I feel like there used to be a bolt or plug there? Just looking for someone to let me know if I'm crazy or not.

The hole right above the signal

Not certain, but on my XL883 there is a recessed set screw there.

Did you touch anything there when you serviced your bike?

Had it done at the stealership as it was the first one and I'm waiting on my shop manual. Looks like I have recessed set screws in there as well. Just never noticed it before.... And it is threaded so wasn't sure if a bolt or cap was supposed to be on there. Gonna be a pain fishing the dead bugs out of it.

RSD sells some caps for those holes, $57 per pair online, plus shipping. Or, some black plastic plugs at ACE Hardware for probably a quarter each.

the scoot does not come with a cover or anything for that hole . there should just be a set screw inside the threads.. thats just to adjust the blinker.. the dealer would not have touched that to begin with unless it was broke or u asked them to move the blinker
ur crazy ! lolol
