Hi guys i have a 94 1200 was looking at the 1250 kits sold by NHRS ..i was wondering if this kit is worth it already having a 1200 and not a 883 ? I guess I'm looking for opinions on this. Was wondering if i just bore mine out and have new pistons and rings and maybe buy the head work package from them if i will achieve the same results cheaper? Thanks

talk to these guys too: http://www.hammerperf.com/
they have some very advanced perf packages and people are getting big results from them.
Tell them your an HDF member they give 10% off.
I just have their basic 1250 kit 2+ years now still runs perfect.
Since you already have a 1200, the 1250 won't give you that big of an increase. That's not saying you won't get anything, you will for sure. But where those kits really shine is when you add some head porting, new cams, and a good tune.
Call or email Hammer Performance and you can tell them what your goals are and they'll give you a setup that will fit your needs. Ask for a "blemish" 1250 kit and you can save a few bucks if you don't mind the parts not being perfect.
