I want to install some saddlebags on the wife's 883XL
I was thinking Willie & Max Revolution hard mount style synthetic leather saddlebags with Easy Brackets. Anyone running this setup? I want a quick detach system as 95% of the time she won't running with bags.
I'm installing a set of LeatherPro T-Sport bags at present. They are detachable, have carry handles and are also expandable, in canvass. They leave two chrome posts each as the only evidence they exist, when they are off. New thread coming shortly!
Sorry haven't heard of Willie & Max Revolution. Here is a link to a sportster bagger thread just to give you some idea of the different types of saddlebags being used.

Once she has bags she probably won't ever take them off. I ride daily and i need room. I have saddle bags and a bag on my luggage rack to carry my LiL Playmate lunch box/cooler. I always have rain gear and a place to put my riding jacket with chaps during cooler weather which takes up alot of space. I have ***** & Max large throw over slants without easy brackets i just zip tied them on. Since i rarely have a passenger i didn't have to do a turn signal relocation as well like you will with easy brackets.
I didn't run the Revolution bags, but did run the W&M Maltese bags with EZ Brackets. Install of the bracket was pretty simple, but mounting the bags was slightly more difficult as there was no mounting holes and had to make them myself. Reading the Revolutions, they are hard backed. Look similar to the Sportster bags. My wife originally was looking at detachable but since having the Sportster bags, she couldn't think of removing them.
