Leaking fuel

I'm running a 2000 HD 883 Sportster with the peanut tank. I'm leaking a bit of fuel from the petcock/hose clamp area only after engine shutdown. It's dry all throughout my ride and while it sits for long periods. Where should I start to fix my issue?

"Follow the evidence" If its leaking by the clamp start there. It could be that the line is damaged beneath the clamp.

so it only leaks when you shut down where hose attaches to petcock after riding. Probably when riding gas is flowing and prevents leaking. When you shut off & close the petcock there's just enough pressure in hose to cause a little leak. If you left the petcock open I'd bet you'll see gas seeping out around end of hose over time. Hose is probably worn just enough to cause the leak. I'd just cut off about 1/4" of the hose & re-install with a NEW clamp see if leak continues
