Hi, I got a 2001 Sportster from Japan, It arrived the other day. The importer told me it's an 883 C which engine was changed to a 1300cc Harley. I asked if it's 1340cc, he said no, it's really a 1300cc. I am sure it's not a 883cc because of the awsome power it has. But 1300cc Harley engine in a sportster,? Is that right.????? Anyone familiar with this engine? Thanks

I saw the pic of it the other day that you posted, and if it has the same motor that's in the pic, then it looks just like a Sporter Evo to me, not any 1340.
I think the guy might be BS'n you.
I don't even think they made 1300's or 1340's the year that you said it was, either, but I could be wrong (I've never even heard of a 1300, but it could be a beefed up 1200 or something, and I hardly know every Harley motor).
