Why is that being a jerk?

Couldn't he have meant that it was light and nimble and handles really well?

Do you ever think you are overly sensitive on the subject?

Exactly what I thought.

As I said above...we have a Sporty in the household that I do the work on etc so the Sporty forum seems like a natural place to read about sporties.

Call me crazy.
Not a problem for me... even if you didn't have a Sporty... Drop in any time... the door is always open...

My sporty reminds me alot of the dirt bikes I used to ride, sits kinda high and has a high center of gravity. I sat on a low Sporty once at the Stealer and it felt like my knees were waist high.

I'm not sure that was a crack on your bike Dallas. He probably just meant it was a lean and mean machine.

The guys I ride with make fun of everyone's bikes, doesn't matter if it's a Sportster, Dyna, Softail, or Touring model..

It's nothing but harmless fun, and no one takes it seriously..

The first day I rode up on my FatBoy the first comment I heard was 'where did you find that piece of junk'.. LoL...

I hearjoking comments about every bike I own, and everyone I know with a bike gets the same treatment...

It's just part of the price you paywhen you own any Harley...
