Hi guys,
I was looking hard at google about this second wire connected to the headlight assembly but couldn't find anything.
Any of you know how do i remove the top wire as below photo ? I can remove the main wire with no problem, but the second one is on the neck of the fork and I can't see where it is connected.
According to the schematics the headlight assembly should have: Headlight - black, yellow, white and Position Lamp - Orange, White with a ground from the black to the position lamp. Schematics indicate Position Lamp is for HDI only. I am assuming HDI means something like Harley Davidson International. I only have three wires black ground, yellow low, and white high on my bike (US). I just bought a headlight that had a position lamp in it with two wires, but since it is not required in the US, I just taped it up.
Thanks for the answer guys, since I didn't found a way to remove it i just cut off the top wire and with an adeshive tape I just "repaired" it.
Installed with success and the headlight is working normally.
