I am in search of some saddle bags for my 2015 iron 883. I have looked everywhere and really cant find any and if I do they say that I have to buy the monts seperatly and I have no idea what mounts to buy, any info would be great, thanks in advance.
I went with Viking Hardbags from California. Almost missed adding the rear turn signal kit to my shopping cart to get them free. Dont have to worry about wearing my backpack as much now.2004 Sporty 1200 Classic
There are many options. You can ask the poster for more info for the bags that suit your fancy. I went with Tsukaya hard saddlebags which came with all of the mounting hardware. The mounts position the bags close to the fender and is more forward with shock cutouts so it does not stick out beyond the fender. Good luck.
If you're into the Adventure Rider look and want to DIY, you can always use

Not gonna lie, That looks pretty badass with the adv touring style.
As far as the saddlebags that we have for your bike. You would need to relocate your license plate, but after that. it shouldn't be any problems. We offer key lockable bags which lets you store your stuff with a peace of mind.. check out our bags here http://www.vikingbags.com/motorcycle-saddlebags.htm
I've got some soft leather throw over bags that were given to me. They are made by Willie & Max. They hold plenty for a weekend road trip to the mountains & easy to take off & put on. I just stick em under the seat. I put some film on to protect my paint from scratching.
