Default Adding a passenger grab strap, suggestions?

I'd like to say it's for all the hot babes that ride on the back... but I don't even have passenger pegs on yet so I can't get away with that lie.

I really dislike the look with the crease between my seat and the passenger pad. I was thinking of adding a passenger grab strap there to hide it, and I'm wondering if anyone has done something similar and how you went about it. I could just punch holes in something and run it through the seats securing pin, but I don't want it to look like total ****.

This is the seat combo I'm running.

Unfortunately not a lot of seats are available in brown. I really don't want to buy a new seat and then immediately have it re-covered.

In the good old days, when bikes came stock with a grab handle, it was normally fitted directly to the seat, using threaded bushings set into the seat base, underneath. They were secured with a screw and penny washer at each end.

In your case you may have to find a suitable strap, or material to make one, then rivet it to the underside of the seat, at a suitable location. Use large pop rivets with large OD washers, but don't let a passenger use it, for fear of it coming apart!

Here is a photo of one from a garbage wagon. It may help give you and idea of how they attach.

I'm looking into getting a grab strap for the Road King also. Texas requires you to have something for the passenger to hold on to. I really don't want the chrome handles sticking out from the seat.

I like the seat just the way it is! You should be the only grab strap on the bike!
