Just put some drag bars on the bike, and cannot see anything. I have flipped them and could see, but mirrors will hit the tank when turning slow. I want to keep the stock mirrors. The stems are about 5" total length. Looking closely at them, is it possible to replace just the stem? I have found a mirror relocation kit, but it says it doesn't fit a '93...I guessed something changed? http://www.ebay.com/itm/221966234542...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Finding longer stems has proven difficult. I have found some, but they all come with mirrors or says "clamp on style." Please guide me in the right direction
Kuryakan sells some nice mirror extension that work great. They can be found on Amazon for around $35. Not cheap but worth every penny. They move the mirrors out about 1 1/2 inches on each side.
That looks like what I used (bought mine was a MOCO part, maybe not) and it made a world of difference. Of course, if I lost weight and "downsized", that would have worked, too!
