Stupid question I know. Ole Lady decided she wants her own bike. She's looking at newer 1200c. She wants footboards instead of pegs. As far as I know there is nothing available unless something has come up in last 5 years. Any input would be appreciated.
on the new bikes... you need special pegs because Harley changed the mounts... but I have Stirrup pegs on mine...
but you can install floorboards... if you want... I have a set... they are Kurryakan and they are universal... they are installed as passenger floorboards for my wife.
Ledsled Customs makes some nice floorboards for around $250.
Another option is Kuryakan Mini floorboards for under $100.
I have the Kuryakan minis and have been very satisfied with them. 3 position fore and aft as well as almost unlimited up & down angle.
I got a set of led sled boards coming my way. Check out my thread on "FLS front end on sportster." Documenting my build and will post pics once installed.
