I posted this in general, but driving me nuts. I'm getting a high pitched jingling noise with my baffles. The pipes are fine, but the baffles are cheap. I'm assuming they were mean't to be thrown away, but I need them to pass inspection. Should I take them out and put them back in for inspection? Is there a company that makes better baffles? What do you think?
Well, you could put them in for inspection if thats fine with you... did you look into the thunder baffles. There was a thread here a couple of days ago
Well. Here's the deal. I was thinking about going baffless until next year. 80 bucks a piece for a baffle is insane. I'm helping for my daughter's wedding. The baffles are cheap and noisey.

There are a million different metal baffles available, from 4" on up to over a foot, and 1.5" OD on up.
I know guys that are running these "mini" 4 inch baffles in their drag pipes (and mufflers) with excellent results.
