Default Highway peg help

I have a 2016 Iron. I may eventually move the foot controls, but want to put some miles on it before moving the controls. In the meantime, I have a road trip coming up and I`d like to have a highway foot placement. It would easy to do with a full engine guard, but I hate that look and just want some frame mounted pegs. Money is a main concern, because I may very well move the controls down the road if I like the feet forward position. I picture an old school straight bar w/ a clevis on each end for the pegs. Can`t seem to find what I want. Any help?

You can certainly add highway pegs where the forwards mount. I have the HD http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...eg-support-kit. I have these on my Custom. Great for the longer rides as you can stretch out. I find mids gives me more control in certain situations.

Others make them as well in black as mentioned - DK Customs.

I looked long and hard into selecting a set of highway pegs and realised they would need to be roughly where the timer cover is, to be any use and so I can actually reach them. I bought the H-D frame-mounted pegs, which can be adjusted to three optional positions, which work just right. I also have a front engine guard, which looks just great IMHO, but is too far away to mount usable pegs on.
