So, for the second time since I bought my bike new, a turn signal indicator light "dash light" has died. First time I brought it in they said it was a wire harness and the dealer fixed it. Now I'm stationed in Japan and not so easy to go to a dealer and not sure if my warranty covers it here..... Anyone have a permanent fix for this?

That light dying is not a normal occurrence. My first thought is that there is something else going on that it causing it to burn out. Most likely a bare wire somewhere in the turn signal/turn signal module wiring. Never fun chasing that kind of thing down.
But if you are still under warranty, I would let them know that you want the root cause fixed, not just a replacement of the wire harness that terminates with the lights on the end of the harness...because if they do that, it is probably just a matter of time until it burns out again...and by then you might be out of warranty.
