Default Oil change tips
So hope this helps you guys. I came up with this idea to keep the oil from getting everything. My FSM that came with my bike had a hand written note from the PO saying use a half a role of paper towels... I was like "not acceptable!" So I had a 2L soda bottle I cut the bottom off and I drain the oil filter into my oil pan. Very minor few drops get on the bike.

It's a lot cheaper than the Harley funnel

I've used the same, cut-up, 1/2 gallon milk jug for about 10 years.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Hell yeah.

this is how i been doin it forever works great !!! even has its own handle !!!!

Very Clever! But the Lady and I take a month at least to go through a half gallon of milk or sugar water, and I have happen to have a giant box of rags, so I just grab a handful to stuff around the oil filters when I change them, and from there into the garbage. Easy Peasy!

Much better than the chopped up paper coffee cup I used last time Though it it worked... pretty well.
