Default 2008 Nightster coil relocation problems..

Hi guys! First of all, sorry if my english it's not good, i'm from Spain so it's not my mother tongue, now i tell you my prob:

I decided to relocate coil and ignition key between cylinders, so i made a plate by myself @ work, and i purchased two SE short wires at HD Madrid store. I did it in a morning, with all the wires under the gas tank and everything was ok (i checked it three times at least) and everything was working good.

At a test ride, the speedo went to 0, and the bike changed it's engine sound, and at a bumper it just came down and switched off by itself. I was with that problem for two weeks, so i decided to relocate the coil to it's original place, and the bike runs good, as allways did..

I got no idea of what could happens here.. but it's a pain in the ***, because i want my coil relocated!!! I made another plate with same material for a friend that own an Iron 883 '14 and his bike work 100%..

I also cleaned my IAC valve, tried to run it with stcok wire plug cables... and nothing..

I got my speedo relocated with autometer. Any help will be appreciated!!

Cheers and beers guys!!

If you are writing that the when the coil is placed back to its original position and original parts are re-installed the bikes works perfect....

I have two suggestions:

1) New spark plug wires...one is faulty
2) Pinched/ broken electrical wire some in the harness near and leading to the coil

Good luck finding the issue.

Yeah.. the prob is that i got tired of disassembling my bike to check everything, and the whole wires in the harness, are under a black electrician tape, and just want to make sure that's there is something wrong over there before i take all tape out.

Thanks m8y!
