Default Advice for bars I installed

Last night I switched out my mini apes and installed tracker bars. There's a lot of excess clutch and throttle cables. I was wondering if there's any downside to this besides aesthetics. Also having trouble figuring out where to put the wiring on the brake/right side so I just zip tied it together for now. Nothing binds when turned and all looks good but just looking for input and advice on cleaning it up a little.

Looks like the throttle cables are also zip tied but they aren't; just wanted to clarify.

I haven't been able to ride it yet but just sitting on it I think it feels really nice. Definitely more sporty but still seems comfortable enough for me. I think it makes the bike look more aggressive and I have more changes in the future.

It might not seem like a problem, but there's added stress on your ends w/all that slack which, over time, can cause problems w/operational function. Hate to say it...time to swap those for shorter cables. Burly is one good option: http://www.burlybrand.com/category/7/cable-kits

Thanks for the advice! I figured there was a downside to all the slack but I've seen others with their bike like that. Guess a cable kit will be one of my next modifications to the bike but it'll probably be a few weeks. Plus it'll look cleaner! I still need to get creative with the wires though.

You really need to keep the bends to a minimum...The larger the arc, the better. However, if you can loop them so ethically, they look OK to you, they will be OK. They will let you know if the loop is to small. Go to teleflex and look at minimum radius for cables.

Yeah I was considering that option but kind of considering clip ons. Thats why I'm going to give it a week or two. If I wanna keep the tracker bars I'll probably try and find someone to trade with for shorter cables.

Take the clutch handle end of the cable and run it behind the headlight assembly. It shouldn't bind, and you'll eat up the distance/slack. With the right side of the bars, sit on a chair, have a drink and use your imagination. You'll figure something out. Save your money for something else.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking it should be able to go that way.
