So I met this dude of craigslist last night to buy a set of SE slip ons for my 05 883. I was running late so I glanced quick - all looked good, and took off. Noticed when I got home and under further inspection that I believe I just bought fricken basically stock mufflers. Which I already have ha. FML.
I called HD with the part numbers and they said they could not find any reference to SE with these numbers, but I have found these numbers in the 2013 SE catalog to be that as listed as SE. Wondering if anyone can shed some light.
Numbers are:
80399-04
80411-04 which HD told me has been replaced with 80412-04.
Life lessons. Slow down... ask for pictures prior. Call that dude and tell him to make it right. Sucks but, its the adult thing to do. If he opts not to do what is right, separate issue.
However, reach out to this OP, he may trade you for the ones you just bought.

I still have mine but, they will be buried with me.
No, I knew the guy and where he lived. Kept giving me the run around saying that he would give me my 200 bills back. Got tired of it after about a month and he got a small climes court summons in the mail. Didn't even have to go to court, he paid up and he got his junk rims back. OH, I guess I should say I was out 20 bills for the file fee at the time. I think it's like 50 now.
