I thought I read somewhere recently that no one else makes a spark plug in the same heat range as HD's. Havent really searched around to find anything to back this up but you might want to look into it,

I have used NGK, no problems, right now I am trying Autolite, so far no problems, the good thing about the NGK is they are CHEAP!

Just put in NGK Iridium plugs. No problems to report but she seems to start up a little quicker compared to the stock HD plugs that were in it.

The HD plugs are made by Champion. I don't recall the plug #, but you can find it pretty easily on here. If OFG weighs in, I'm sure he knows if off the top of his head. It's a very common sparkplug, available most anywhere.
