oil on the two bolts close to the spark plug
after riding today i noticed some oil surrounding the bolt on the rear cyclinder housting. the spark plug is located between the two bolts that has oil. I have a 1200N and I was wondering if this is normal for the 1200 or any suggestions on fixing it. it doesn't feel like the bolt is loose.

happened to my 07 1200c, dealer told me that is is assembly lube and not to worry abouyt it. It has seamed to go away, I just keep an eye on it and if it comes back then they are getting the bike again.

thanks ******. i was getting worried since i want to take itin usingthe warranty and i'm installing d & d slipons which hopefully won't void the warranty. how many miles have you had since the leak showed up?

I have a '07 XL883 and noticed the same thing at around 300 miles. I cleaned it up at my first washing session. I've got 1065 on it now and the issue has not returned, so I will not worry about for now.
