Geez man, lighten up. That was actually more cute than disrespectful. You must be female...
No!! Don't assume gender based on that. I thought it was pretty cute too. He called her his honey-bunny for Goodness sake! I just assumed he was using his pet names for his wife. They could have an adorable story to tell about the pet names. I wonder what she calls him.... hmmm.

Jerk. But that's another story. Lol
Here's a quick sneak pic of the one we narrowed it down to. Still got to hear it run and do the paperwork. 2008 with 4,200 miles. The selling points were the upgraded profile laced wheels with chrome hubs, stage 1, luggage rack, windshield, and chrome crash bar.
if she is "upgrading" ...she should at least ride the deluxe first...my wife has had both ..the 883 and 1200 ...and put many miles on both ...and to this day she will never ride another sportster ....says it way to top heavy and that the softail deluxe is so much smoother with the balance motor of the Twin Cam ...much lower center of gravity ..way better ride ...will carry anything you can put on it .and keep up and ever out pull most touring bikes ...and now with the 107" and S&S 585 cams ...not much can stay with her "at highway speeds" ..
lower seat height (lowest of all models ) then you can drop it even further ...
Well, here he is. She, and the wife made it home after a crazy day at the dealer. Crashed computers made for a lot of waiting, an what I think was either a loose battery cable, or a loose master fuse plug that came to fruition on the ride home, made for some unexpected fun. It seems that the side cover popped open around 60 MPH, and caused something to happen to make the bike quit running. We got to the side of the road, squeezed/fiddled with master fuse and other plugs, tightened a very loose battery cable, popped the side cover back on, and she fired right up. Has been running fine ever since. And we have ridden about and additional 60 miles since. Other than those silly mishaps, its a really freakin' nice motorcycle. The chrome is perfect..... and its covered in chrome. The paint is excellent. Everything works great and it has very low miles. Once we get a lowering kit on this girl, I think my wife will be about as happy as a lark. Now granted, this is only the first day of ownership, but I can happily quote her........ "Yeah, this is gonna be the last bike I ever buy. It's exactly perfect for me." Well, OK then.
Thanks for the great replies.
Will definitely zip tie that sucker. It seems fine now that I put it on CORRECTLY! But better safe, right.
And yep, it's a 1200 Custom.

Ahh, I must have missed something somewhere. Nice scoot. I hope she enjoys it for a long time.
