Hey everybody. I have a 2015 sportster 48, and I've gone through my first rear tire (hell yeah!)
I'm looking at getting some wide whitewalls for both the front and rear tires. My question is what is the widest tire I can fit on the rear stock 16 rim, without doing any mods to the bike? Will a 160 fit back there? I'd like to go a little wider in the back, I like the way it looks.
From what I've read, the stock 150 is your safest bet for a stock bike. I too want a wider rear, but it sounds like stock size is what you're stuck with on a stock bike. I'm sure someone else with more knowledge will chime in. I've been wondering about a lower profile tire on the rear...
