Default Anyone else like their mid-controls?

Is it me because I see alot of people converting to forward controls. Nothing wrong with that but I got to thinking about it too. I like having the highway pegs to stretch out after I go through the gears but I also like to bring them back in for a changeup and also when going through the corners. Is it having the controls by your feet at all times the main reason or do some people feel the mids are in the way when putting there feet down at stops? Most here would probably laugh the way I change up often while riding but I just seem to like it. Anyone else or am I the freak around here?

I didn't hate mid-control but I like forward control even more. I do think mid-control has more control over forward-control both cornering and high speed. Forward control is more relax, extend your legs position while you are riding, I like the way it is. Some people like mids but I prefer forward myself, there is nothing wrong with mids though.

I like mids but I will be putting pegs up front shortly, I like to have the balance and control of mids with the freedom of pegs.

I like the Forwards way better. It's a much more comfortable ride. They are really not that much farther and had zero impact on handling.

Another example of personal preference IMO. Nothing wrong with mid controls. I am 6' and forwards are just much more comfortable for me.

I feel far more comfortable with mids. though it may be because I am short.

I keep forgetting about the long leggers. Makes sense.

Forward controls are nice but if you do any long distant riding you'll be happier on the mid control.

Mid controls gives you three positions, Hi-way pegs, mid control, and you passenger pegs if solo.

I am 5' 5" and love my mid controls. I think it depends on how tall you are and how you ride. For me I sat on some 1200C bikes and had a hard time bending my leg around the air cleaner to reach the break. I can toss mine around better with mids.
